The basic shape is cut out with a jig saw. A hole is drilled for the eye.
Start by making a template for the wine bottle and then transfer the design onto Trex. We prefer Trex because its waterproof but wood could also be used.

The bottom fins will be the bird feeders seed tray. We found a brown plastic PVC Post Cap @ Home Depot. We cut a triangle out of each side leaving an hour glass shaped piece. We then used a heat gun to warm up and bend the plastic so that each fin pints downward.
Two to four holes are drilled. The holes are located toward the bottom of the horizontal bottle. They have to be located so they fit inside the seed tray. This way seed will fall from the bottle and slide into the seed tray.
The bottle is wired to the trex fish frame as shown. The bottle should be secure but do not over tighten the wires or you will chance cracking the glass.
